In this short prequel to Catching Jordan, Kenneally shows us how much Jordan and Henry cared for each other even before they both realized that what they had was more than just friendship. I also loved how the boys were protective of Jordan not as a female so much as a female trying to succeed in a male role. Past experiences have lead her to completely shut the same sex out; she feels like they’re all the same.

Overall, Catching Jordan was a realistic and highly entertaining account of first love and growing up. It rocked my world. I could easily see this as a TV show lol The one major problem I had with this book was view spoiler [ Jordan is nearly 18 yrs old, she kisses Ty on a sat night then freaks out, and come monday she loses her Virginity to him?
These characters were overall ridiculous and beyond realistic. The only kennwally they did is to say that Jordan and Harry can’t sleep head to head, but have to sleep head to legs.
And so Jordan comes up with a plan. And I was like: Overall, the concept was great and I liked the whole theme of girl football player trying to beat the odds in addition to the teenage concepts as they relate to friendship, loyalty and first love… All very promising, but when the final play was delivered I sort of let my poms poms fall to the floor feeling disappointed in the story.
It deals with a variety of things, and it all flowed really well without being too busy. Catching Jordan is one of my favourite books. The romance is absolutely swoon-worthy. I’m no cheerleader and I’m shallow and mean whenever I want to be, so It has romance, humor, love, loss, friendship, family – it has something for absolutely everyone.

I was afraid the account of an almost 18 year old girl discovering love for This was such a sweet, adorable read. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam.
